What we do

Six practices for building software that lasts.

Most engagements draw on two or three of these. We name them clearly so you know what you are buying — and what you are not.

01

Platform engineering

We design and build the backbones that product teams sit on top of — APIs, identity, observability, and the internal tooling that makes a team faster month over month.

  • Service architecture
  • Internal developer platforms
  • API design & versioning
  • Observability stacks
02

Web applications

Considered front-end work for products that need to feel as careful as they are capable. We treat performance, accessibility, and motion as the same problem.

  • React / Next.js / TanStack builds
  • Design systems in code
  • Performance budgets
  • Accessibility audits
03

Mobile applications

Native and cross-platform mobile work. We respect the conventions of each platform and resist the temptation to make everything look identical.

  • iOS (Swift / SwiftUI)
  • Android (Kotlin / Compose)
  • React Native modules
  • Release pipelines
04

Cloud infrastructure

Pragmatic infrastructure work — green-field architecture, modernisations, and migrations executed without theatre. Infrastructure as a deliverable, not a side effect.

  • Cloud architecture
  • Terraform & Pulumi
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Cost & reliability reviews
05

Data engineering

Pipelines, warehouses, and the unglamorous plumbing that turns raw events into reports leadership can act on without flinching.

  • Event pipelines
  • Warehouse modelling
  • dbt projects
  • Analytics tooling
06

Product design

Interface design that ships. Our design work is reviewed in code, exists in the same repositories as the product, and is maintained by the same people who build it.

  • Interface design
  • Design systems
  • Prototyping
  • Documentation

Working agreement

Fixed-scope discovery, ranged estimates beyond.

Discovery is always priced as a fixed deliverable. Build phases are estimated as ranges with named assumptions and a written risk register.
